Our Story:

Established in Gulf Shores, AL in 1975, we are one of the original family-friendly restaurants in town! David Bodenhamer and Gerald King’s love for fresh seafood, a great view, and family tradition is the reason we are in business today. Our restaurant stretches over the sugar-white sand and sits just a couple of feet away from the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We offer true beach-front dining! Enjoy an Alabama sunset and listen to the waves rush to the shore on our outside deck.

We are Gulf seafood enthusiasts and pride ourselves in offering dishes passed down for generations. Our famous “Shrimp Sandwich” and “Fried Crab Claws” are just a couple of fan favorites from our menu. Stop in for a FREE cup of gumbo made fresh daily from Grandma Bodenhamer’s secret recipe!

Our customers have become family over the years and our restaurant is home to many of them. We love hearing stories about their memories made within our four walls and have laughed, cried, and raised a cold one with them. From first time visits to 44 years of visits, we have loved every single moment and are excited to continue offering great seafood and warm memories for another 44 years!
